Former Deputy Information Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has cautioned members of the ruling NPP to stop taking credit for projects undertaken by the previous government.
Kwakye Ofosu was reacting to a Facebook post by Managing Director of the Accra Digital Centre who was commending the Railways Minister, Joe Ghartey for renovating the Takoradi Railway station.
Kofi Ofosu Nkansah who shared some pictures of the station on his Facebook wall, wrote “Newly renovated Takoradi Railway Station. Kudos to Hon Joe Ghartey (MP), Minister for Railways”.
In another post, he named Joe Ghartey as one of the best Ministers in the current government.
But Kwakye Ofosu who is evidently not happy with the post, responded on the same platform saying it is a false claim.
According to him, the NPP must “stop this disingenuous appropriation of President Mahama's work.”
He added that the Takoradi railway station is one of three terminals under the Takoradi Kojokrom Sekondi rail project which was executed by the Mahama administration.
