Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo-Maafo, has professed that the Akufo-Addo-led government will only commission projects that are necessary or due for recognition.
According to him, statements that Mahama's projects have been abandoned are 'uncalled for' and just 'cheap' propaganda been played by the opposition to discredit the current government.
Speaking on Citi FM, the Senior Minister averred that projects will only be commissioned once its completed irrespective of the political party who initiated it.
Stating reasons why Terminal 3 of Kotoka International Airport has not been commissioned yet, the Senior Minister said: "I think that if it was necessary to commission, we would have done it."
Ever since the New Patriotic Party (NPP) assumed office in 2017, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have constantly been accusing the current government of abandoning projects started by former president Mahama.
Examples of such projects are the E-blocks, Takoradi Railway Station, Kotoka Terminal 3, Ho Airport and many among others.
And when projects are commissioned, the NDC still blames the Akufo-Addo-led government for failing to acknowledge Mahama for starting the projects.
