Ghana skipper Andre Ayew has applauded the teaming fans of Cape Coast for their stupendous support during the Black Stars 2-0 win over South Africa on Thursday.
The charismatic skipper who was overwhelmed by the crowd that filled the stadium to the rafters says the team can only be appreciative of the outing of the fans.
Ayew believes the support in Cape Coast engineered the Black Stars’ win and would want the team to return to Cape Coast for more games.
Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey's long shot gave the Stars victory in the lead.
New boy Mohammed kudus completed the victory with a solo effort to give Ghana three points against the Bafana Bafana.
Speaking after the game, commended the Cape Coast fans for turning out in their numbers to support the team.
