Date for the second edition of
The second edition of the ‘Bliss on the Hills’ boxing night will be staged on Thursday, December 26, in Abetifi in Kwahu.
The boxing night would witness some thrilling fights with one of Ghana's finest boxers Samir Bastie, set to face Nigerian boxer Sunday Ajuwa in the main event on the night.
Mr. Alex Ntiamoah the Chief Executive Officer of the Box Office Sports Promotion, at the launch of the event, was hopeful of staging another thrilling boxing night with some of Ghana's finest boxers on the bill.
"The boxing night is going to be packed with lots of action and we have selected the finest boxers in Ghana and we would to have a memorable night of boxing," he said.
Samuel Agyemang, a representative of Kwahu Republic, main sponsors of the boxing night, was elated with the partnership with the boxing promotion outfit as look to promote sports tourism in Kwahu.
"We saw the potential last year and we are happy to team up with Box Office in staging another boxing night and we’re hoping this relationship would grow stronger to a point where Kwahu would host a World Title bout in the near future,’’ he stated.
The likes of Alfred Lamptey, George Ashie, Micheal Ansah, Sheriff Quaye and Maxwell Awuku would be in action on the night as they set sights in winning honours.
This years’ edition of ‘Bliss on the Hills’ would feature lots of entertainment programs including gospel night, Hiplife night, Rock concert, among others.
