Self-claimed man of God and government spiritualist, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, has claimed former President John Dramani Mahama begged for his handshake.
According to him, the former President sent an emissary among the pastors of the Assemblies of God to beg him to go over and exchange pleasantries.
Rev. Owusu Bempah took to the pulpit on Sunday to explain the incident that occurred at the South Odorkor Assemblies of God Church when he was stopped from getting to the former President for a handshake.
According to him, a pastor of the church informed him Mr. Mahama wanted to greet him.
“You see the foolish people we have in this country called Ghana… some Ghanaians are stupid and fools, they don’t think when they sleep,” the man of God stated.
According to him, if he had passed by without even waving at the former President, these same Ghanaians will tell him he did not respect the former President and that he is too-known.
He argued that he is not bitter against Mr. Mahama because he was halted from exchanging greetings with him hence his claim an ex-president is plotting to eliminate some people in order to be re-elected.
He stated, “I was able to prophesy when he [Mahama] was president…I was able to say that he has soiled his hands with blood during the time he was president and not now that he is an ex that I should be afraid of him,” Rev Owusu Bempah stated.
