Koforidua, May 30, GNA - The Reverend George Wesley Tagoe, Minister in-charge of the Begoro Methodist Church, has said it is wrong for Christians to use their working hours to read the Bible. He explained that working hours were meant for economic and productive labour whose output was measured on an hourly basis. Rev Tagoe advised Christians to find time to read the Bible in their homes to enhance their spiritual growth.

He was preaching at a second anniversary thanksgiving service of the Calvary Methodist Youth Fellowship at Adweso, near Koforidua on Sunday.

Rev Tagoe urged the youth to abide by the teachings of the Bible to receive all the blessings promised by God.

In a report, Mr Richard Ansong, Secretary, said the Fellowship with 55 active members had been organising Bible studies and other activities to help in developing the talents of the members. An appeal for funds for missionary activities of the Fellowship yielded 10 million cedis.
