2019/20 GPL week 2 report - Elmina Sharks 1-1 Karela United - Shark shares spoils with Karela in Elmina
Raphael Ocloo’s strike settled a pulsating draw between Elmina Sharks and Karela United in Elmina.
Karela United opened the scoring though forward Darlington Fosu in the 33rd minute after some dorminant spell from the traveling side.
Fosu’s goal was the first real attempt from either sides in the first half.
Sharks recovered from a lackluster half hour, very determined to grab the equalizer before half time.
The Ndoum lads piled pressure on the visitors before Raphael Ocloo leveled the scores.
Samuel Arthur’s deflected shot fell in the path of Ocloo, who netted his first goal for the club this season.
Both sides went into the break with the scores leveled.
