The Police have started investigations into a suspected robbery case at the private residence of former Vice President, Professor John Evans Atta Mills, at the Regimanuel Estates in Airport residential area in Accra yesterday dawn.

Happy FM enquires say yesterday afternoon, officers from the Head quarters of the Criminal Investigations Department went to Professor Mills?s residence to take evidence to enable them conduct investigations into the incident. Unknown persons yesterday dawn broke into the official car of Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress, (NDC) in the last elections. They made away control board of the 4X4 car and what aide says are some vital documents. Briefing Happy FM, the National Youth Treasurer of the NDC, who also doubles as the personal assistant to Professor Mills, Lukewid Hodgize described the incident as minor but was of the view that the Former Vice President takes serious view of the incident as there were two armed police officers at the house where the car was parked. Mr. Hodgiz, in an interview did not ruled out any motive for the incident saying they will allow the police to investigate it before coming out with any thing. He expressed confidence in the police to do a thorough job to ascertain the true state of the matter.
