Communications expert, Mr. Raymind Ablorh has taken to social media to slam the Municipal Chief Executive for Ledzokuku Evelyn N.A. Twum-Gyamrah, over the inability of her assembly, to commissioning the newly constructed school for the Teshie Salem Primary school.
The current facility being used by the school he noted is in a deplorable state hence the need for the assembly to commission the school to allow the pupils to use it.
In a Facebook post, he wrote: “This is Teshie Salem Primary School. It’s at Teshie Salem close to Teshie Presbyterian Senior Secondary School. The school was completed about A YEAR AGO by GETFUND with the support of some donors.
As unthinkable as it is, the new school hasn’t been opened to the children and they continue to endure schooling in the old dilapidated classrooms you see in the photos.
However unsafe and inhumane it’s, the MCE doesn’t care. This is the same MCE who kept a completed toilet closed and pupils had to attend nature’s call on rubbish damp, in bushes and at the sea side until we all campaigned for her to open the toilet to the children.
This week, we all must ask Adjeley why she’s doing that and get her to open the classrooms to the innocent children who didn’t ask to be born in Ghana and at Teshie where educated adults think this way.”
