The Oguaa Traditional Council has denied reports claiming that the Omanhene of Cape Coast, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, has been destooled.
According to the Council, there has been “false news” circulating on social media that the paramount chief has been destooled.
“He has not, repeat, not been destooled,” a statement issued and signed by the Senior Registrar of the Council, I.A. Donkoh said.
It said Osabrima Kwesi Atta II “is still the paramount chief of Cape Coast”.
The Council has thus warned the public to desist from circulating the false information, noting that anyone caught circulating such false news will be made to face the full rigours of the law.
