Aduana Stars midfielder Elvis Opoku has disclosed that the players re ready to help in-form striker Yahaya Mohammed win the Golden boot accolade in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
Mohammed has scored an incredible eight goals in nine games so far in the on-going league season, propelling the Ogya lads to the top of the league standings with 17 points.
The former Asante Kotoko ace is currently tied with Inter Allies and Nigerien striker Victorien Adebayor at the summit of the top goal scorers chart also with eight goals in nine games.
But, Opoku who has been of the best players at the club this term, claims the players of Aduana Stars are willing help Yayaha Mohammed win the goal king accolade at the end of the season as they look to retain their league title they won in 2017.
"We are ready to push Yahaya Mohammed to win the goal-king as well as the Aduna Stars club for the league title," Opoku mentioned in an interview with Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.
Aduana Stars played out a goalless draw with Hearts of Oak at the Nana Agyeman Badu II Park in their last league game and are set to make a trip to Dansoman to face Liberty Professionals on match day 10 this Sunday.
