Former Asante Kotoko gaffer Bashir Hayford has downplayed assertions that he is not in good terms with outgoing Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association, Oti Akenten.
Hayford recently returned home after a short stint as head coach of the Somalia national team due to political conflict and has therefore applied for the technical directorate role of the Ghana FA.
The FA wants a replacement for Francis Oti Akenten, whose contract will not be renewed when it expires next month [March]
The two-time Premier League winning coach after applying for the topnotch job says he has no feud with Oti Akenten, saying the latter even contacted him to apply for the job.
"Am in a good relationship with Mr. Oti Akenten and he even contacted me to apply for the job but is not like am sabotaging him" he said.
