BMW Club Ghana donates to Ada East District Hospital

BMW owners and lovers club of Ghana, has donated a lawn mower and other items to the Ada East District Hospital as part of activities to celebrate its 2nd Anniversary.

The second anniversary celebration was held on the theme; ‘Beyond the BMW experience,’ with support from Life Healthcare Medical, Optical & dental clinic.

The donation exercise seeks to promote Healthcare awareness and tourism as it brings together all motorsports and Car enthusiasts in the country.

The Matron of Ada District Hospital, Miss Vivian, who received the items on behalf of the hospital expressed her profound gratitude to the BMW Club on behalf of management and promised that management will ensure that the machine is properly handled and put to good use for the benefit of the hospital and community in general.

The donation event, was held concurrently with Drive Tours (DTs), a quarterly activity of the club during which they embark on a long distance drive as a form of exercise and for fun.

As a car club, driving long distance journey forms part of their major activities which is dubbed Drive Tours and the club drove on long distance from Accra Mall to the Treasure Island.

Founded in 2017, BMW Club GH has grown to become one of Africa’s fastest growing owner supported single-marque car club with over 200 members nationwide mutually enhancing one another’s BMW ownership and driving experience.

The President, BMW Club Ghana, Benjamin Kwadwo Oppong, indicated that the club was officially accepted and certified by the African BMW Club about two years ago and as part of its second anniversary celebration activities, decided to support the Ada District Hospital with the mower as they are usually challenged when it comes to keeping the environment free of weeds.

“BMW Club GH aims to enhance the BMW experience for our members by providing services, support, information, and activities that promote camaraderie and encourage social awareness and responsibility.

At the heart of our values is the promotion of Driver safety and Social Responsibility. We live these values by actively supporting the BMW Clubs Africa based in South Africa,” he said.
