Former First Lady, Lordina Mahama has admonished Ghanaians to follow religiously the precautionary measures laid down by the Ghana Health Service and the World Health Organization against the deadly coronavirus.
According to her, the following suit will help keep them safe and prevent them from contracting the deadly disease.
The former First Lady made this known through a tweet which read “Although confirmed cases of COVID-19 has increased over the past few days in Ghana, I want to encourage us all to remain calm and most importantly, follow recommendations from WHO and the Ministry of Health on how to protect ourselves and others from contracting”.
Ghana has recorded 19 cases of Coronavirus with the Ashanti Region being the hardest hit by the pandemic.
The Government has ordered that public events and gathering come to a halt to ensure that the virus does not spread like wildfire.
