Management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has released the posting of 90,636 nurses for the 2020/2021 service year, to various health facilities in all sixteen (16) regions across the country, to undertake their mandatory one year National Service.
All eligible nurses who register for the national service are requested to log onto the scheme’s websites to check their placement and proceed to the user agencies to endorse their appointment letters.
However, in view of the ban imposed on public gatherings by President Akufo-Addo, the date for registration and validation at the centers will be communicated at a later date.
The statement says despite the anticipated delay in registration, all posted nurses are required to start service on April 1, 2020.
Management urges all posted nurses to accept their placement and consider them as part of their contribution towards building a prosperous Ghana.
