Astute football administrator Kofi Manu ‘Blue Boy’ says it’s grueling to manage Kumasi Asante Kotoko as he believes handling the African club of the century doesn’t come on a silver platter.
According to him, running one of the most glamorous clubs in the country will not be easy but says he is ever ready to accept the challenge when he is approached.
Asked if he has been contacted by management of the porcupine warriors to assist in running the club, he said, “I haven’t being contacted by Kotoko management to come and assist in steering the affairs of the club”
“Managing a club like Kumasi Asante Kotoko is very challenging because every supporter of the club is a sports guru when it comes to football, to be frank, that’s one of the problems of the club”
Despite ruling out contact with management of the club, he revealed that he liked to be challenged as an individual when it comes to football.
However, being linked as a management member of the porcupine warriors will bring the best out of him as people are watching.
