Head Coach of Ghana Premier league side Edward Nii Odoom has partaken in the campaign to heighten awareness about Corona Virus and how to stay safe.
The former Tema Youth gaffer has advised Ghanaians on how to observe the health and safety protocols as the world battles a deadly and highly infectious Covid-19.
The disease has taken the world bu storm with global figures reaching 723,279 cases and 33,993 as at 5:56hrs GMT on Monday, March 30.
Ghana’s case count has increased to 152 as of Sunday, March 29, with five deaths.
To help curb the spread, certain measures have been implemented by the government with football activities affected.
Currently, locations around Greater Accra and Greater Kumasi are on partial lockdown.
Coach Edward Odoom in a video on Hearts of Oak’s Twitter page encourages regular proper handwashing and strict observance of the health and safety protocols that can help prevent the virus.
