CPC to up production of cocoa products

The Cocoa Processing Company (CPCP), is urging the general public to consume more cocoa products to boost their immune system especially at a time Ghanaians are being encouraged to eat healthy foods to boost their immunity due to the COVID -19 pandemic.

The advice is coming at a time Ghana’s COVID-19 recovery cases has seen a remarkable increase a situation the Company is attributing partly to the consumption of its confectioneries.

President Akufo-Addo during his last address to the Nation, encouraged the general public to consume foods that are of highly nutritional value to stop the virus from damaging the immune system.

Managing Director for CPC, Nana Agyenim Boateng in an interview said, his outfit will increase its production capacity to meet demand in this era.

“We just pray that after this COVID-19 those who would; have consumed would give testimonies and through that we can reduce, or if for any reason, get out of foreign import so that we can use their money we use for import, Mr Agyenim Boateng, said.
