1978 Africa Cup of Nations winner, Mohammed Ahmed Polo has said he must get the recognition as the country's all-time best player.
Nicknamed the 'Dribbling Magician', Polo made waves on the African continent with the Black Stars and Accra Hearts of Oak SC.
About a week ago, former Black Stars captain Abedi Ayew Pele described the Hearts of Oak ace as a true legend and revealed that he looked up to Polo while growing up as a footballer.
In a response to Abedi's comments on Kumasi based Wontumi Radio, he said “If a whole Abedi Pele is saying am the best, he looked up to me coming up as a player with all what he has done for Ghana then who else should I wait for him to say am the best,”
“I am just hoping that these young ones will come and break the record that I have set in Ghana,” he concluded.
