Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has sent his “heartfelt” condolences to the family of the late Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie on his demise.
Mr Owusu Afriyie, one time General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), died on Wednesday, July 1 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.
He is said to have been admitted at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Hospital.
Taking to his official Twitter account to break the news, the Vice President said he didn’t know his conversation with Sir John on Tuesday, June 30 would be his last.
“Sir John was a good man who truly paid his dues to the party and Ghana,”
