20 subscribers for Ghana GLO Award

TELECOMMUNICATIONS outfit, Globacom, has launched a promotion to select 20 lucky subscribers on the Globacom network for an all-cost-covered trip to watch the Glo-CAF Awards ceremony in Accra, Ghana.

The promo, which commenced on Sunday, will also offer bonus airtime worth N100,000 to 50 lucky subscribers who would be picked from a raffle draw to be conducted on March 5.

Meanwhile, Twin brothers, Peter and Paul, popularly known as P-Square, and Senegalese sensation, Ishmael Lo, will lead the cast of international African music acts billed to thrill the audience at the event coming up on Thursday, March 11, at the State House Banquet Hall in Accra, Ghana.

Bobby Scot of Truecolour events, the South Africa-based event management company that has been retained for the event, disclosed that the line-up of 11 music acts for the show included four from Ghana, two from South Africa and one from Benin Republic.

Ghanaian artistes billed for the awards are Jadu Blay Ambolley, Sherifa, Kwabena Kwabena and Pat Thomas. Also scheduled to perform are Zaynab from Benin Republic and the all-women South African mavericks, Three Tonnes of Fun.
