Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso says the year 2015 was very generous to the Black Stars and hoped 2016 would be even better.
The Spain-based midfielder played an instrumental role to help the Black Stars reach the final of the Africa Cup of nations in Equatorial Guinea.
“The year has been good to us at the national level and I know 2016 will be better,” Wakaso told GHANAsoccernet.com
“We played in the final of the AFCON but for luck we would have been champions.”

The former Villarreal and former Espanyol midfielder recovered from a disastrous world cup campaign in 2014 to feature prominently for Ghana in 2015 and is by far the best player for his nation in the period [ 2015].
