The Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- has secured an international friendly game for the Zambia Women’s national football team against the Black Queens of Ghana.
This is ahead of the 2018 Africa Women Championship slated for Ghana next month.
FAZ Communications Manager Desmond Katongo has confirmed this, saying the friendly match will take place on November 3rd 2018 at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
Katongo says the friendly is part of the build-up to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The Shepolopolo are currently shaping up for the African Cup of Nations.
They have been placed in Group B of the tournament, alongside defending champions Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya.
The 2018 women's AfCON, which runs from November 17 to December 1, will see the top three finishers qualify to the FIFA Women's’ World Cup slated for France next year.
