2018 WC QUALIFIER: Black Stars hold first training

Ahead of the clash with Comoros in 2018 World Cup qualifier, the Black Stars held their first training at the Stade Cheikh Said Mohammed.

Led by coach Avram Grant and his technical team, the Black Stars trained on the artificial pitch at about 1 pm on Thursday afternoon.

The Black Stars will be taking on their Comoros counterparts on Friday afternoon in the first leg of the double header World Cup qualifier.

The team left Ghana on Wednesday night after their last training at the Accra Sports Stadium and left for Comoros around 12 am on Thursday.

The team arrived at the Cheikh Said Ibrahim International Airport at about 10am on Thurdsday before testing their legs on the AstroTurf in the afternoon.

Ghana are overwhelming favourites to win the game on Friday.
