Coach Avram Grant supervised his first training session ahead of the 2018 world cup qualifier against Comoros with ten players.
Skipper of the side Asamoah Gyan who was the first to arrive in the country was joined by Chelsea left-back Baba Abdul Rahman.
The only defenders who took part in this evening's training session were South Africa-based Edwin Gyimah and Jonathan Mensah who play his football with Evian in the French division two.
The home based trio of Fatua Dauda, debutant Samuel Tetteh and Richard Ofori were all present as Grant begun preparations for the game against Comoros. -
Midfielders Mubarak Wakaso who plays in the Spanish La Liga with Las Palmas, Rabiu Mohammed who plays in Russia with Kuban Krasnodar as well as attacker David Accam who has had a blistering campaign with Chicago Fire in the MLS also took part in the first training session.
