2019 AFCON: Thomas Partey to decide his future after tournament

Ghana and Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey will speak about his future after the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, according to AS.

Partey is focused on the tournament to be staged in Egypt between June and July despite lots of speculation about his future.

The 25-year-old was one of the standout players in the just ended Spanish La Liga, guiding his team to 2nd place on the table.

He only recently said how much of an honour it was to represent the first team at Atletico, but now the doubts have set in and the Ghanaian is starting to consider his future.

According to AS, Atletico do believe in Thomas, with the Spanish club believing that he is an important man in the side for Diego Simeone, with the Madrid side even wanting to extend his contract.

Nobody knows what will happen with Thomas, but one thing is for sure, the midfielder has a decision to make on his future.
