2024/25 Ghana Premier League: Week 5 Match Report - Medeama 0-0 Heart of Lions

Medeama SC held onto their unbeaten run after a goalless draw against Heart of Lions at the T & A Stadium on Saturday.

The home side aimed to extend their flawless start to the season, while Lions sought a win to bounce back from consecutive draws.

Both teams pressed from the outset, but neither could break the deadlock. Medeama created 14 attempts, with five on target, while Lions registered 15 attempts, three of which were on target.

Medeama dominated possession with 59% to Lions' 41%, but solid defending saw the match end in a stalemate.

Medeama remain top of the league following the draw; however, their lead is under threat as second-placed Kotoko play on Sunday.

Medeama will look to return to winning ways when they face Samartex on Wednesday in an outstanding match, while Lions prepare for their next clash against Vision FC.
