Nations FC celebrates their victory over Bechem United
Nations FC delivered an impressive performance to defeat Bechem United 3-0 at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Friday afternoon in the Ghana Premier League.
Nations made a strong start and opened the scoring in the 10th minute through Emmanuel Annor, who struck a powerful drive to give the hosts an early lead.
The home side doubled their advantage just before half-time when Abdela Mashud tapped in from close range in the 44th minute after a fine setup from Brandon Antwi.
Bechem United struggled to respond after the break as Nations controlled the game and limited the visitors’ attacking opportunities.
The victory was sealed in stoppage time when Richard Danso produced a superb strike in the 91st minute to wrap up the win.
The result lifts Nations FC to eighth place on the league table, while Bechem United remains 13th after the defeat.
