Iñaki Williams has been included in the Black Stars squad for the first two games of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
The Athletic Bilbao striker was left out of Ghana's squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic in June due to a foot injury.
Despite the absence of the experienced forward, the Black Stars recorded back-to-back wins in those two games.
However, after successful foot surgery, Iñaki has featured against Getafe, Barcelona, and Valencia in the first three games of Athletic Bilbao in La Liga.
The Black Stars will host the Palancas Negras at the Baba Yara Stadium on September 5 before traveling to play Niger on September 9.
Meanwhile, Otto Addo is set to announce his squad today for the games, with Iñaki Williams making a return to the setup.
Footballghana.com can also confirm that no Ghana Premier League player has been included in the squad for these games.
The Black Stars are aiming to secure one of the top two spots in Group F to qualify for the AFCON tournament, which will take place from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
