Ghana's head coach, Otto Addo, has expressed deep gratitude to fans for their steadfast support as the Black Stars prepare for their crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match against Angola.
Speaking ahead of the game, Addo praised the fans for backing the team during challenging times, particularly during their comeback victory over the Central African Republic.
"To say thank you for our last support against the Central African Republic really impresses me. Even though we were 2-1 behind, they still supported us fully. We need your support, and we thank the supporters for the last game. Keep showing up and keep supporting," Addo told Peace FM, as monitored by Footballghana.com.
The Black Stars held their first training session at the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday and have since flown to Kumasi to continue their preparations. They will face Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium on September 5, followed by a match against Niger in Morocco on September 9, as they aim to secure their place in the prestigious tournament.
