21 Black Stars players to train in Kumasi on Tuesday afternoon

Twenty One players have reported to the Black Stars camp that will train in Kumasi on Tuesday afternoon to commence preparations for the opening 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

All three goalkeepers; Fatau Dauda, Razak Brimah and Stephen Adams are in the Ghana camp as well as defenders; Awal Mohammed, Yaw Frimpong, Jeffrey Schlupp, Jonathan Mensah, Baba Rahman and John Boye.

Tunisia-based Harrision Afful is yet to join the team as he is expected to arrive on Tuesday.

All the midfielders invited but for Andre Ayew are in camp with yesterday’s arrival of Mubarak Wakaso and Christian Atsu to complete the numbers in that department.

The Olympique Marseille man was left behind due to his involvement in the final jostle of the transfer deadline day in London.

He is expected in town also on Tuesday.

Asamoah Gyan, Jordan Ayew and David Accam are also in, leaving onlyAbdul Majeed Waris the remaining striker to arrive.

He had permission to go complete his move to Turkish club Trabzonspor on Monday.

The team will fly into Kumasi on Tuesday afternoon and will hold their first training session later in the evening at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Ghana will host Uganda in their opening 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday before making the short trip to battle Togo in their next game on September 10.
