4-Nation Tournament: Tickets cost ....

Accra, Nov 13, GNA - Capt. Andy Sam, (rtd) Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the Ghana 2008 Africa Cup of Nations has announced that tickets for this weekend four-nation tournament will sell for between GHC25 and GHC250.
Ghana's Black Stars will host Benin, Togo and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the four day championship from November 17 - 21.
At a media launch of the tournament on Tuesday, Capt. Sam disclosed that tickets for the North and South Stand (Popular Stand) will go for GHC25 (50,000 cedis), Osu Stand - GHC210 (100,000 cedis), VIP - GHC235 (350,000 cedis) and the VVIP - GHC250 (500,000 cedis).
He added that the LOC has made arrangements for personnel at the stadium to assist fans in the area of ticketing. Capt. Sam said the tournament would be dress rehearsal for
the LOC in their quest to host a successful Africa Cup of Nations
next year. Randy Abbey, Spokesperson of the GFA said that with the
exception of the 3rd and fourth placed match all matches will
kick-off at 5pm local time. He said the tournament will take a two- day rest after the
first two matches before the final matches on Wednesday,
November 21.
