Forward Dauda Mohammed is fired up ahead of Ghana’s opening game at the 2015 All Africa Games against Senegal.

The Asante Kotoko star expressed joy at getting selected by coach Malik Jabir for the Ghana U23 team for the tournament which is being staged in Congo.

Mohammed’s immense talent has come for the fore following an impressive showing against Hearts of Oak in the Premier League match where he scored a brace.

“I am feeling very great to represent my nation at such a competition. I just cannot wait for the competition to start,” he said.

“It means a lot to represent my country and especially to wear the national team jersey. I am very excited ahead of this competition”.

The former Soccer Buddies Academy product has managed five goals in just his debut campaign in the Ghanaian top flight.

The Black Meteors open their title defense at the All Africa games with tough game Senegal on Sunday.

Malik Jabir’s team then battle Nigeria for a semi- final spot following the withdrawal of Egypt.
