AFCON 2017: Saddick Adams to replace David Accam

Berekum Chelsea striker Saddick Adams could be handed a shock call-up to replace injured David Accam in Ghana’s squad for their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Mozambique.

Black Stars coach Avram Grant and technical team are expected to ratify his invitation this weekend.

Adams has been one of the assertive and aggressive forwards in the Ghana Premier League this season.

The former ex-Ghana youth international has scored three goals-including a brace in two minutes against Asante Kotoko at home-in four matches.

Ghana squad will open camp in Accra on Monday to prepare for the first leg tie at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday.
