Ghana will be facing Sudan, which is coached by former Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah, in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

The Black Stars have been placed in Group F with Angola, Sudan, and Niger for the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers, which were held on July 4, 2024.

Kwasi Appiah was appointed as the head coach of Sudan in 2023.

Since his appointment, Kwasi Appiah has led Sudan to an impressive unbeaten streak in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The Sudanese team currently tops a group that includes heavyweights like Senegal and D.R. Congo.

As a former player and coach for the Black Stars, Kwasi Appiah's tenure was marked by significant achievements.

He is the first Ghanaian coach to have qualified Ghana for the World Cup in 2014.

Ghana is led by Otto Addo, also a former player and the current coach of the Black Stars, who will be hoping to qualify the country for the 2025 AFCON.

The 2025 AFCON will be hosted in Morocco and is set to take place from December to January.
