AFCON: Asamoah Gyan powers Ghana into lead against Mali

Black Stars' skipper Asamoah Gyan has given Ghana the lead by scoring the only goal in the first half of the Ghana-Mali encounter.

The goal came after a cross delivered by Forward Jordan Ayew found Gyan in the 18-yard box of the Malians. The skipper powered the ball past goalkeeper Sissoko to make it 1-0 to Ghana!

The Black Stars are looking for their second win in a row which will take them to the top of Group D.

Mali are however searching for their first three points in the tournament after drawing their previous game with Egypt.
