Former Black stars guardsman and now the Corporate Affairs Manager of Hearts of Oak, Joe Addo has lauded the qualities of Burkinabe shot stopper, Soulama Abdoulaye describing him [Abdoulaye] as the club’s best signing for the season.
“Soulama’s influence in the Hearts team transcends his role in the goal post to one of an inspirer and manager of his younger play mates. He is not just a goalkeeper and he is our best signing this season,” he told Asempa FM.
“He is an organizer on the field; he manages the younger players both on and off the pitch, acting like a general captain,” he added.
Soulama Abdoulaye joined the Phobians this season after his mutual contract termination with Asante Kotoko and he has been in blossom form for the 2015 Confederation cup campaigners, keeping 3 clean sheets in 9 Premier League games and 1 clean sheet in 5 games in the ongoing Confederation cup.
With the Phobians impressive form in the CAF inter club championship; the Ex Black Stars defender admits the goalie will go a long way.
