Ghanaian football legend Abedi Pele has dismissed claims that he has plans of contesting for the post of Ghana Football Association president in 2015.
The three time African footballer of the year has been linked along with Randy Abbey as one of the personalities eyeing a run at the seat currently occupied by Kwasi Nyantakyi.
"Abedi Pele has no need to contest for the presidency of the Ghana Football Association at this moment. The media reports about him contesting are unfounded because no body has spoken to him" his publicist Fiifi Tackie told Allsports.com.gh.
"He is currently concentrating on Nania FC and other ventures that he is involved with."
This is the second time Abedi Pele has been linked with making a run at the presidency of the Ghana Football Association.
