Newly-appointed captain of Thailand-based Nakhon Pathom, Leslie Ablorh, says his side is poised to finish the season on a high note by qualifying for the top flight.

Ablorh, a versatile midfielder for the Thai Division One side, told the Graphic Sports yesterday that, “We are hoping to make it to the top and hopefully qualify for the Premier League”.

He said the team had a great start to the season after winning three and drawing two in their five matches played so far.

After netting 12 goals to help his side avoid relegation last season, Ablorh disclosed that he was looking forward to scoring more goals for his club after drawing 2-2 at home with Police United ,last Saturday.

The former Unque FC midfielder is also paraying for an injury- free season to help his team realise their dream of winning laurels.

“I want to keep improving on my form by scoring more goals for the club which I hope begins with my next match.

I am really focused on winning my next game against Police United on Saturday and I pray for an injury free season,” Ablorh stressed.
