Ghana goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey suffered an injury while in action for Portland Timbers in the American Major League Soccer on Saturday night.
The 28-year-old produced an eye-catching drive to deny Chris Wondolowski the opening goal for Earthquakes and he suffered an injury as result.
Number 2 Jake Gleeson stepped in and ensured Timbers won the game 3-1 with Nigerian Fenando Adi hitting a brace to add to a 52nd minute strike from Jack McInerney.
Timbers doctors will assess the extent of damage done to the former Norway youth international goalkeeper.
Kwarasey recently ended his self-imposed international strike and responded to a call-up from Ghana to play in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers against Mozambique but he was unused in both games.
