Two players Ishmael Addo and Sulley Muntari (in PIC) are likely to join the Black Stars team for their match against their Slovenian counterparts as replacements for Otto Addo and Charles Amoah.

Sources at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) secretariat said the two players are expected to join their colleges in Italy where the team would group before moving to Slovenian for Friday's encounter. Asked the criteria used in selecting the two the source said they were selected because they wanted to use mainly foreign players who can make easy connections to join their team rather than deprive local teams of their players whiles the league is still in progress.

The match, which, forms part of Slovenia's build up to the World Cup, which starts on May 31, The Eastern European nation are in group B along side Spain, Paraguay and Tunisia. The match would also be watched by the new coach of the Black Stars, Millan Zivadinovic who would take over the reigns of the team on May 20th as the Ministry of Youth and Sports on Friday approved of his appointment and a monthly salary of $8,000.

Meanwhile a contingent of nine players, made of three local based players namely Sammy Adjei, John Paintsil and Issah Rahman are expected to leave the country for Italy where they would be joined by their other foreign-based clubs for the match.
