Hearts are the only remaining club from Ghana in Africa and Herbert Addo has sworn to go very far in the competition for the nation.

The Caf Confederations Cup has thrown up tricky opponents for the Accra-based club, but they've handled them all very well thus far. Senegal's Olympique Ngor were the last hurdle to be cleared by Addo's side.

“I am very proud that Hearts of Oak is the only Ghanaian team playing in the CAF competition at the moment and I am assuring all football fans that we will make them proud by continuing to lift up high the flag of Ghana,” Addo said.

Six days ago the Phobians stunned Malian giants Djoliba 2-1 to get themselves in pole position ahead of the second leg in Accra.

The 63-year-old has overseen a five-game streak in the competition for the former Confed Cup winners - with four wins and a draw.
