Ade Coker Gets Second Top Spot On GFA

Accra,(Greater Accra Region) 14 Oct. Mr Joseph Ade Coker, Chairman of Accra Great Olympics, was today elected the vice-chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA). He automatically becomes the vice-chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA). Mr Coker, a former member of the GFA, polled 64 votes to one vote obtained by Nene Martey Steel, chairman of Prampram Mighty Royals. The third contestant, Captain (Rtd) A.K. Cudjoe, a Director of Tema Ghapoha Sporting Club, stepped down after his nomination. The GFA now comprises Alhaji M.N.D. Jawula as chairman, Mr Coker, Vice-Chairman , with Mr Ernest Thompson, Mr Bram Larbi and Mr Oheneba Charles as members. Mr W. K. Agrah is the General Secretary. Nana Brew Butler, out-goping Chairman is expected to hand over to the Alhaji Jawula's GFA on Saturday, November one.
