Adiyiah joins Mainz 05 on loan

Promoted German Bundesliga side Mainz 05 have acquired Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah on a season’s long loan deal according to reports in the local media. Adiyiah moved to Italian giants AC Milan in January after impressive display at the World Youth Championship in Egypt.

But endured a turbulent season in which he failed to make a first team appearance.

Milan can afford to farm out Adiyiah after securing Olympique Lyon striker Hartem Ben Arfa on loan.

Adiyiah is expected to have much playing time in the Bundesliga with Mainz 05.
