Ghana striker, Dominic Adiyiah was on the score-sheet for his club, Arsenal Kyiv as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Illichivets.
The home side were two goals down before the quarter mark after Ivan Ordets and Aleksy Polyanskiy netted in the 5th and 13thminute respectively.
Adiyiah who started this time around found the back of the net in 39th minute to raise the hopes of Kyiv.
Kyiv returned from recess fighting hard to at least salvage a point but the away team remained resolute till the final whistle.
