Adjah Tetteh is new Olympics coach

Accra, Jan 27, GNA - The Management of Accra Great Olympics has appointed Adjah Tetteh, a former player of the Club as its new head coach.

Coach Tetteh whose last job was with Division One side, Zaytuna FC replaces Ken Augustt who resigned from his position over alleged unpaid financial entitlements.

Speaking to the GNA sports at the Club's Teshie training grounds in Accra last Friday, the Coach said that he resumed his new position last week but is yet to append his signature to a permanent deal. Coach Tetteh, who is in his second spell with the 93Wonder Club" said that he would be at the helm of affairs of the Club till the end of the soccer season.

He promised to make the Club place among the Top Four teams at the end of the soccer season describing it as his immediate target. He said that he believes that he has the right calibre of players who can aid him realise that goal with the support of Management and the fans.

The coach said his immediate responsibility is to prepare the team for their 20th Week clash against Kpando Heart of Lions at the Kpando Stadium.

"We will pull another major surprise in the league on Wednesday by returning with the three points to Accra", he added. Coach Tetteh featured for Great Olympics in the 1970's alongside the likes of Awuley Quaye and Peter Lamptey among others. The Management of the Club is expected to issue a release on the coach's appointment in the course of the week. 27 Jan. 07
