Aduana Stars beat Liberty as Yahaya Mohammed gets the last laugh

Aduana Stars produced a strong performance to beat Liberty Professionals at their own back yard.

Lead goal scorer in the Ghana Premier League Latif Blessing opened the scoring just five minutes into the game with Aduana Stars just finding space.

The goal rattled the nerves in the Aduana Stars team and got a response from Zakaria Mumuni who carefully planted his goal in the game.

Richard Mpong should have put the visitors ahead but his shot was wide after some wonderful play from his team mates.

The let off was huge and Liberty dully punished them with Ebo Mends who rose above everyone to head home from An Antwi corner.

Yahaya Mohammed picked his spot to answer his critics by scoring in three games on the spin after bringing his side back into it.

The equalizer seemed to have knocked the home side off their perch with Derick Sasraku scoring to give the home side the lead for the first time in the game.

Liberty Professionals tried as much as possible to at least get a point but tried as they did Aduana held on to pick all three points.
