Public Relations Officer of Aduana Stars, Evans Oppong has denied claims that his outfit has held talks with former Hearts of Oak trainer David Duncan.
The two times Ghana Premier League champions are in search for a new gaffer after parting with Kenichi Yatsuhashi and reports have gone viral that David Duncan is on the verge of taking up the mantle as the head coach of the club.
However, he confirmed that several coaches have shown interest in the job but the club is yet to receive an application from David Duncan.
“31 coaches across the world have applied for the job with 16 Ghanaian coaches and 15 foreign coaches,” he told Ghana Crusader.

“David Duncan to Aduana Stars is just a mere speculation. People are just being smart because of the criteria we have put on the table to appoint a new coach.
“Duncan is a very good coach but has not applied for the Aduana Stars job”. He added.
The former Ghana U17 and U23 coach has been out coaching since leaving Asante Kotoko in April 2016 when he was asked to stay away from the club.
