Ghana Premier League Champions Aduana Stars are set to complete the signing of former West Africa Football Academy midfielder Emmanuel Boateng.
The 20 year old, ended his relationship with the Academy Boys at the end of the season and is reported to have agreed a three year deal with the Dormaa based Club.
Boteng, who is also a target of Kumasi Asante Kotoko opted to join the Champions who will be involved in CAF Champions League action next season.
The midfielder was part of the midfield trio of Gideon Waja and Majeed Ashimeru who dominated the league last season, helping WAFA finish second, their best ever position in the Premier League.
If Emmanuel Boateng completes his switch to Dormaa, he becomes the second WAFA player to join the Champions in the transfer window, following the transfer of Caleb Amankwa.
Aduana Stars have already signed Hafiz Adams from Wa All Stars, Caleb Amankwa from WAFA and Uba Ikama from Club Aspe.
The Premier League Champions have set a target of making it to the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
Meanwhile, the Dormaa based side will be engaged in the GHALCA G8 com[etition, an off season tournament and have been paired in group A with FA Cup winners Kumasi Asante Kotoko, New boys Dreams FC and Eleven Wonders.
