An Aduana Stars fan has confirmed he was slapped by striker Yahaya Mohammed after last Sunday's 2-0 defeat to ASEC Mimosas in the CAF Confederation Cup.
''It is true Yahaya Mohammed slapped me heavily and it has affected my left Eye,'' Ernest Appiah-Kubi confirmed to Nhyira FM Sports.
''As am speaking to you I have received my Police report and am on my way to the hospital.
''I told the players to play well and stop the abrasive displays. When I was in the heat, I made an accusation that the players use Aduana Stars matches for betting.
''It wasn't specifically targeted at Yahaya Mohammed but he quickly reacted by rushing on me with a slap.''
Aduana are literally out of the CAF Confederation Cup after their defeat to the Ivorian side. They were the only Ghanaian side left in CAF Inter-Club competitions this year.
